HACEMOS ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP

IMPORTANT: Please review the entire form before you begin.

Before you start, make sure you have all the required documents ready:
• A copy of your most recent OFFICIAL school transcript (must include a school seal and/or signature to be considered official)
• GED (if applicable)
• A recommendation letter (academic or professional)
• A link to your YouTube video created according to the requirements (see the Video Essay Requirements section)

Note: You must complete and submit the application in one session. There's no option to save your progress.

Video Essay Requirements:

  • Your video must be 3-5 minutes long.
  • Upload your video to YouTube with the privacy setting set to Public or Unlisted.
  • In your video, please address the following:
    • Academic Background & Goals
      • Share your academic journey and interests.
      • Explain what you plan to study and how it aligns with your goals.
    • Overcoming Obstacles
      • Share any major challenges you have faced (or expect to face), and how you have addressed or plan to address them.
      • Tell us how the HACEMOS scholarship will help you achieve your goals.
    • Choose ONE of the following essay prompts:
      • How have you (or how do you plan to) make a postivie impact on the Latino community (through volunteerism, work, studies, etc.)?
      • If you are a child of an HACEMOS member or retiree, what does "Juntos HACEMOS Más" mean to you?
Link to your YouTube video, make sure the video privacy setting is set to Public or Unlisted
